This painting features one of Northern Irelands most famous places, the ‘Giants Causeway’, which is situated on the north coast. It’s one of my favourite places and I just love to go there whenever I get the chance.
Not far from the ‘Giants Causeway’ is the seaside town of Portrush and the amusement arcade ‘Barrys’.
For many years the main attraction was the rollercoaster “Barrys Big Dipper’.
Its featured in the painting,

The yellow shipyard cranes, Samson and Goliath tower over the Belfast skyline from the East of the city. I love to paint them and they have been in numerous works that I have painted.
